Brown University Orchestra with the Manhattan Chorale

The Brown University Orchestra opens Manhattan Concert Productions’ 2014-2015 season with a concert featuring works by Phillips and Burgess, as well as Gershwin’s Rhapsody in Blue. Led by music director Paul Phillips since 1989, the orchestra’s composers-in-residence have included Samuel Adler, Peter Boyer, Lukas Foss, Steve Reich, and Michael Torke. This concert also features a performance by Manhattan Chorale and University of Connecticut Wind Ensemble.
