The American Traditions Competition showcases contestants performing American Music from a diverse spectrum of established genres. The Competition consists of 3 live Rounds: Quarterfinal, Semifinal & Final. Applicants must choose 3 songs for each Round for a total of 9. Each song must represent a different genre (out of 14) and must have been written by an American Composer (either natural born or naturalized American citizens). The greater portion of text in each song must be in English. Recordings for the songs from the Quarterfinal Round will be used for the application and will also be performed if contestant is accepted to compete in Savannah.
